Ely Family

Meeting and photographing the Ely family was such an unforgettable moment; right from the very beginning where she told their story and all the struggles they had to endure just to start their family. Their kids were actually a successful outcome of IVF. She said that they felt very lucky that it went well for them right from the very beginning, even though they're a little older compared to their other friends. She also mentioned the adjustments both her and her husband had to make when it comes to parenting. Having said that, seeing Miles and Jubilee at their age now, I can see that they're surrounded with nothing but love, affection, and just the right amount of disciplining when it comes to their age, in which I believe is a great foundation on raising kids. Even though I only saw a glimpse of their childhood with less than two hour of our photoshoot with them, it showed.

Through our images, I wanted Morgan and Skylar to be reminded of the love and affection they've given, I hope that by capturing those little moments I am able to share to them a slither of their children's memories, knowing that they are loved and cared for by their parents. Morgan mentioned that she can't help but think about her kids growing up, being independent and not needing to rely to them anymore. It’s sad to know that this is almost every parents thoughts and dare I say nightmare. However, being a child once, we can be reminded and knowing that parents will always have a special place in our hearts whether you are a kid or an adult, and that will never, ever change.
